KRWQ Korean Won Payment Infrastructure Remains a Key BSV Story
,

TokenSquare launched KRWQ, a Korean won payment infrastructure, through strategic cooperation with BSV Association. ZDNet Korea reported that TokenSquare and BSV Association signed an MOU in June 2025 and have continued working on technical verification, node operation structure, and commercialization direction. (ZDNet Korea)

ZDNet Korea reported that KRWQ is designed on BSV Blockchain’s Teranode architecture and is aimed at large-scale real-time payments, micropayments, and business settlement. TokenSquare’s own site describes KRWQ as AI-era payment infrastructure with 1M+ TPS, zero user gas-fee requirement, one-second settlement, wallet SDKs, merchant tools, and compliance controls including KYC/AML, Freeze, and Hold functions. (ZDNet Korea)

BSV TIMES read:
KRWQ matters because it places BSV Blockchain inside a payment-infrastructure discussion: fast settlement, low-cost transactions, compliance-aware design, and enterprise-scale payment flows. It also fits the broader direction of invisible blockchain infrastructure, where users interact with familiar payment systems while the ledger works underneath.
