GorillaPool Turns BSV Blocks Into Collectible On-Chain Art for Miners
,

CoinGeek reported that BSV mining pool GorillaPool has begun minting unique collectible NFTs from every block it mines. The pieces are deterministic generative art created from on-chain block data and distributed to pool members. The first collection is called Gorilla Canopy, with each piece represented as a fractal tree derived from block attributes such as hash, nonce, Merkle root, transaction count, difficulty, timestamp, and mining effort. (CoinGeek)

The report says each artwork is minted as a 1Sat Ordinals NFT through the pool’s payout transaction. GorillaPool is not selling the tokens publicly at this stage; the pool is still working through safe distribution to hashers, including wallet handling for 1Sat Ordinals. (CoinGeek)

BSV TIMES read:
This is a useful BSV infrastructure-and-culture item because it turns mined blocks into visible records of network activity. The story is not only about digital collectibles. It shows how BSV’s on-chain data, mining infrastructure, Ordinals tooling, and transaction history can be connected into a permanent, visual layer of network participation.
