@BSVTeranode detailed the subtree approach: blocks contain only lists of subtree identifiers rather than raw transactions. Each subtree (~1 million transaction IDs + Merkle root) is broadcast every second, allowing most work to be completed before a block is found and enabling manageable gigabyte-scale blocks.
