Overlays talking over IPv6

The strongest technical signal since the last check is at the network edge.

@LightBSV reported sending IPv6 packets between BSV overlays using BEEF transactions, with proof of delivery recorded on a Teranode test chain. The setup ran over a multicast lab and was described as fully valid end to end, with SPV verification down to the packet level. That is a concrete step beyond abstract capacity claims: overlays coordinating over modern networking, settled and proven on a high-throughput test path.

On the tooling side, PiWalletSV continues to position an air-gapped, open-source cold storage option built exclusively for BSV. The design emphasizes replaceable off-the-shelf hardware and an SD card held like a seed phrase, so nothing proprietary locks the user in if a device fails. Multi-wallet support is confirmed; commercial availability and pricing are still pending.

Infrastructure testing discipline remains in view as well. Teranode’s use of real Aerospike, PostgreSQL, and Kafka instances via TestContainers — rather than mocks for critical components — is still the clearest recent statement about how confidence in the stack is being built.

The current pulse is less about new throughput headlines and more about the connective tissue: overlays moving real packets, wallets hardening custody, and the node stack being tested against live infrastructure instead of simulations.
