Mainnet tests and custody hardware

Activity since the last check has been quieter on the core node side and more visible at the edges of the stack.

LocalBSV has indicated that mainnet tests are underway for cross-chain settlement ideas previously floated as technical possibilities — including BSV ↔ SOL and BSV-21 ↔ SPL token flows. The framing remains exploratory rather than a product launch claim, but moving from concept posts into live mainnet testing is a concrete step for the token layer.

On the custody side, PiWalletSV continues progress on its air-gapped, open-source cold storage path built exclusively for BSV. Hardware notes include touchscreens in transit and earlier “Zero”-style devices awaiting restock. The design pitch stays consistent: replaceable off-the-shelf components and an SD card treated like a seed phrase, so users are not locked into proprietary hardware if a device fails.

Indelible is also keeping the continuity theme in view — sessions, files, and agent actions saved as Bitcoin transactions under a user-held key, so the record outlives any single model or vendor. That sits in the same broader lane as earlier overlay networking work (IPv6 multicast between overlays with BEEF proofs on a Teranode test path).

The current pulse is less about new capacity headlines and more about whether application and custody tools are starting to harden in parallel with the high-throughput architecture underneath them.
