Editorial Summary

This week’s developments were varied, but several followed the same underlying pattern: specifications and source-level work moving toward more concrete implementation, publication and operational use.

Teranode beta-15 continued the recent emphasis on correctness and recoverability rather than headline throughput alone. The prerelease changes when block contents are verified before updates reach the unspent-output database, adds optional disk-based sorting for large transaction reloads, reworks internal storage used by block assembly and improves snapshot-seeding behavior. The release also adds further service protections, including peer-to-peer HTTP rate limiting. BSV TIMES

At the application-infrastructure layer, four identity-related standards — BRC-200 through BRC-203 — were merged alongside TypeScript Stack work for identity-key identifiers and encrypted-certificate interoperability. That source-level milestone was followed this weekend by publication of SDK 3.0.0, together with updated DID, Simple and Overlay Topics packages, making the coordinated identity changes available as installable artifacts. The release also removes earlier serial-DID interfaces, creating a migration point for existing integrations. A separate infrastructure-image stage failed and still requires follow-up, so package publication should not be read as confirmation that corresponding server deployments have also been completed. Token infrastructure followed a similar progression. After the consolidation of the Mandala format under BRC-162, the 1Sat SDK merged reusable code for constructing and reading those token outputs. The implementation remains at the script-template level, with higher-level wallet deployment and sending actions still planned, but it moves the consolidated specification closer to reusable application tooling. Outside the developer layer, the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal returned to the BSV Claims Limited proceedings for hearings concerning amended pleadings and continued certification of the collective case against exchanges. At the time of BSV TIMES’ September 29 report, no resulting order or judgment from those hearings had yet appeared on the tribunal’s public case page. BSV TIMES

Taken together, the week shows several layers of infrastructure moving forward at different stages: stronger operational safeguards at the node level, identity standards progressing from merged source into published packages, reusable implementation around a consolidated token format, and continued movement through an external legal process.
