Continuous assembly and token protection

The practical edge since the last check sits in two places: how blocks are prepared, and how tokens stay intact.

Teranode has been highlighting continuous Block Assembly rather than burst-style preparation. Validated transactions are organised into subtrees, Merkle roots are computed, and a running block template is maintained so that when a miner finds a valid hash, the block is already largely built. The point is minimal delay at the moment of discovery — assembly as an ongoing process, not a last-minute scramble.

On the application side, LocalBSV has outlined two forthcoming features: liquidity pools that can tap into limit orders, and a Token Locker that lets users lock BSV-21 tokens for flexible periods. The locker is framed explicitly as a way to reduce unnecessary burns — a direct response to the recurring problem of wallets and sweeps that do not understand token UTXOs. That pairs with the recent warning about Yours Wallet’s token-blind auto-sweep (KeysService.sweepLegacy), which can still burn BSV-21 holdings if a seed is shared across apps.

Custody hardware remains in the background: PiWalletSV continues early shipping while watching for Pi Zero availability for further builds.

The current pulse is less about new capacity numbers and more about the quieter work that makes high-throughput infrastructure usable without losing tokens along the way.
