UI polish, UTXO checks, and self-verifying tokens
The practical edge since the last check is mostly in tooling and verification, not new capacity claims.
LocalBSV has been rolling V1 UI improvements on the Token DEX, with a demo of the refreshed interface and final touches expected shortly after. That sits alongside earlier work on UTXO chaining, stale-order cleanup, and the still-planned Token Locker to reduce accidental BSV-21 burns.
On the node side, Teranode continues to stress double-spend protection as a high-speed path rather than a bottleneck: the UTXO store tracks every unspent output, and spend checks run in sub-millisecond time via Aerospike even under high throughput. Continuous Block Assembly (subtrees prepared ahead of the hash) remains the matching theme on the production path.
Custody and standards are moving in parallel. PiWalletSV has added Pro assembly and disassembly videos to its tutorials page, reinforcing the open, replaceable-hardware cold-storage path. On the token design side, builders are still arguing for issuance proofs that travel with the token so wallets can verify validity themselves instead of relying only on an external indexer — a useful counterpoint to the recurring indexer-and-sweep friction in the BSV-21 layer.
The current pulse is quieter on headlines and sharper on the details that decide whether people can use the stack without losing tokens or waiting on opaque infrastructure.
